My grandma has been my inspiration in life along with my old day care “mom” when I was a child. More so than my parents.
My grandma where always there for us in thick and thin. She was the one making us a grand Christmas every year, she involved us children in baking, cooking, gardening, handicrafts, and she showed us love.
She was married to the same man all her life and loved him to pieces. Even though he died many years before her she still talked about him all the time and never wanted anyone else.
They raised 4 children together and they got many grandchildren.
My grandmother was a good cook and was very good at baking, she knitted, crochet, made her own lamps, all kinds of broderie and always tried to take everything in life with a smile and good faith.
When I came visiting we either stayed at her place or we went for a trip to town or something she agreed to get along to. This is my beautiful Grandmother.
I tried to visit her as often as I could. But it was not so easy living in Norway. But I went there anyway whenever I could.
My grandmother always tried to be a good person to everyone.
She got almost 100 years old (minus two weeks).
My Grandmother was a very kindhearted woman. And I miss her. And the times I miss her the most is when I get sad and feel lonely at times. Then I would like to get a hug from my Grandmother. There were always a hug to get from her. She was always happy to see me and she hugged and kissed my chin.
Now it is some years ago she passed away. And I just wanted to say she is my inspiration and I love her. She was a strong, classy capable woman with a lot of love for me and everyone else.
