It was many years ago I decided to cut out sweet soda drinks, fatty snacks and eat a more healthy diet. My desire is to stay healthy longer.
Really, when you are a movie buff like me you tend to sit many hours on the sofa watching movies being a lazy one. If one on top of that stuff the face with a lot of potato chips, candy and such you only get fat and feel bad. When I eat to much of that bad snacks my whole body feels heavy and clogged, I feel dirty on the inside. I much rather eat something healthy like a plate of fruit, drink lemonade or some juice. All body feels so much better then.
Of course, not all think like this so when inviting guests for a movie evening I usually put both kinds on the table so everyone can choose for themselves. I think that is the polite and nice way to do it. I do not like to force my way of thinking on anyone, and I do not like to be forced to eat the crap food myself. So I let people choose for themselves.
