First it was the newspapers that mocked Muhammed, the prophet of Islam. The cartoonists and newspapers claimed and thought they were in their right to hazzle with all muslims in the world and their faith because of what some few of the muslims do. They made fun of the Islam prophet making drawings of him. Now we got a Koran burner in the United States that mean he is in his right do so of the same reason as the cartoonists. Because of what a part of the population that are muslims have done bad, they all should hang – that is their mantra. This pastor in USA he burns their bible, the Koran, and in that way make himself sole judge, enemy to the muslims and aggravates a lot of people. When is it we last saw a muslim burn the Bible? I have never heard of such. Actually believing in the prophet Jesus is a part of Islam, in that particular part they are actually more respectful than the Christians are.
I do not say it is right to murder, commit terror attacks and commit other crimes in the name of any God, but burning their bible just because some of the believers make some really bad things, that is just being stupid. Not only does he make groups of people angry with him, but at the same time he jeopardize, security and the diplomatic relationships between his own country and other countries. And all Christians, be honest, it is not so long time ago since the Christians thought they were in their right to burn and demolish other people’s items of faith, raiding through the world to make everyone believe in their God. The Christian crusaders who murdered in the name of God and Jesus.
Actually it is wrong to behave like this regardless what you believe. One must respect that others like other things than oneself do, and it goes for everyone in the world everywhere. It is like when you go to school. You must respect other peoples things and feelings. One could look at the world as a hugh class room, there are people and there are a lot going on and people learn from life all the time.
Now you maybe ask.. Are you a muslim? No I am not, but still I think such like making fun of others faith, and burning their book, is such bad behaviour that there are no excuse for. One wrong does not make another wrong right.
I only wonder what the Christian community would say, do and feel if the muslims started to burn the Bible? And Christians are those who got the rule: You should do to others, what you want others to do to you… With that in view and thought, one can only wonder what the Christian pastor had in mind burning the muslims book?
P.s I do actually do not write this with any religiosity in mind. I look on this in a human perspective. What is right and what is wrong in treating others in different ways? … It is wrong hurting others people’s feelings. That’s it.
