Fritz Wahl (!) Had an experience like no other.
Good Friday was Fritz Wahl, like many others, on the fjord to enjoy the good weather. He and his traveling companion came from Sula. When they rounded the headland Slinning, appeared a flock of killer whales in seven or eight animals between Hessa and Ålesund.
– We followed the crowd towards Skarbø bay, and had come close to the large animals, “says Wahl to smp.no.
– It is not unusual for these animals is in our fjords. But even I have never experienced killer on this side of Hessa. And never in such close quarters, “he said.

I wish it was me that gotten that photo. O what I wish it was I that was out on the fjord in my canoe that day. What a view! It is not that often one is able to spot killer whales here. Photographing is competitive, one always want the best shot. /Annelie
