Kauko

When I was a young girl and went to school I had a friend named Kauko. His family origined from Finland. It was not until today I actually recognized what Kauko means. I could read in Finnish this:

Kauko means remote in Finnish

Kauko is Finnish and means remote. I could read this out of the text on the curtain. To the right it is written in Finnish and translated to Swedish on the left side. In English : The curtain is remote controlled. Do not pull!

Kaihdin = curtain
Toimii = is
Kauko = remote
Ohjauksella =controlled/manovered.
Älä vedä = Do not pull

And no, Kauko was not his nick-name, it was his real name. I think I would have hated my parents for giving me such a name. ;)

I like canoeing, photographing, friends, movies, food, humor, and going on trips. I dislike rudeness, dishonesty, violence, nastyness, and people not caring for others. I do not drink much, I do not smoke and I do not do drugs. I love friends who are kind to me and stick with me. If you want to give me a gift, the best gift is to stop smoking and stop using fragranced products. Then you give me health and that dear friend, is the best gift a person can get. It is a gift of love. I got asthma and I am hearing disabled.
