A qout from the American English movie, 30 minutes or less:

“..I wish I could get stoned too.”

In Islam it get an all other meaning.

“Stoning, or lapidation, is a form of capital punishment whereby a group throws stones at a person until the person dies. No individual among the group can be identified as the one who kills the subject, yet everyone involved plainly bears some degree of moral culpability. This is in contrast to the case of a judicial executioner. Stoning is slower than other forms of execution, and hence is a form of execution by torture.” – Wikipedia

Through history other religions have been practising stoning, but later stopped using this cruel method. In 2012 stoning is still practised in Islam (rajm) and women are often the victim of stoning. View videos. Warning! Horrible images!!! VERY GRAPHIC!

I like canoeing, photographing, friends, movies, food, humor, and going on trips. I dislike rudeness, dishonesty, violence, nastyness, and people not caring for others. I do not drink much, I do not smoke and I do not do drugs. I love friends who are kind to me and stick with me. If you want to give me a gift, the best gift is to stop smoking and stop using fragranced products. Then you give me health and that dear friend, is the best gift a person can get. It is a gift of love. I got asthma and I am hearing disabled.

  1. 19 September 2014 article in Aftenposten

“Raif Badawi founded the website “Saudi Arabian Liberals” in 2006, a website intended to promote discussions of political and religious themes. Courts in the Arab country argued, among other things, that he wrote an article about Valentine’s Day, a day that is forbidden to celebrate in Saudi Arabia.

To discuss human rights, humane, etc., got him ten years in prison. 1,000 lashes, given 50 at a time once a week – so he does not die of strokes. Travel ban after release.

This is the Saudi Raif Badawi get for “insulting Islam”.

He has been imprisoned since 2012, and was also ordered to pay a fine of almost one and a half million.

Foreign Minister Børge Brende (H) said in June Liberal leader Trine Grande questions about Norway contributes to support for Raif Badawi:

“Norway has taken the clear distance from the judgment against the Saudi human rights defender and blogger Raif Badawi, who was recently sentenced to 1,000 lashes to advocate for religious liberalization.””
