In my point of view a woman must dare to try. I like learning an listening and learn new things. In this way I am probably honoring my father who taught me that as a little girl. Be cleaver and bright, he said.
It is getting winter here now and the temperature has dropped to +-0. My car did not like that, and when I was about to start and drive to a friend it went flat. I told my friend the battery went flat. No problem he said, I’ll just come and help you. :) And he came with a ampere meter and a battery charger. And now I have learned how to measure the ampere on the battery and got a tip on a good charger. :)
My old battery was bad and gave too few ampere. So I went shopping for a new battery. I found one perfect match. 1600 it costed.
Out on the parking lot by the shop I took out the old battery, and put the new on in myself.
I smiled to myself when men drove past and just stare at me using the tools shifting battery, and getting dirty.
But it is actually not that hard. I even shift the lights myself when needed, and shift air filter, diesel filter a.s.o.
