A little to often I hear stories about and from women like:

My husband fills gas on my car, I will not do that…

First snow for the year and a woman ends up in the ditch driving. Reply: -I am angry at my husband, he has not changed to winter tires…

My car is dirty, I’ll just ask my hubby to wash it…

A woman’s car broke down by the road and I stopped to help her. I opened the bonnet and checked engine oil. It was all dry! Reply: -Must one fill oil?

I met a woman driving a Mercedes on a narrow windy road. I drove a 15 ton bus. There were no place to meet and pass so I kindly asked her to go back to the nearest spot available. She denied and told me to back. I explained to her that I had zero view back and there are children on the road. She tried and gave full turn on the wheel everytime and did not manage to drive straight. I waited, and waited while she openly still refused loudly with both words and hands. This car is to big! She said. A laughed inside me struggeling not to let it show. To big? I thought to myself looking at my bus… In the end she admitted to not being able to reverse and back away, she did not know how to! In the back of the car were her 2 kids. I asked her if she even got a driver’s licence? That she had, she said. I did not really believe her, but since she stopped all traffic I ended up reverse an back away for her. I had to get into her car and drive it for her. Oh, my…

Traditional helpless fool by the road that do not know how to change a tire when having a flat….

And so on…

You know all women, there are some things that come along with getting a driver’s licence and a vehicle. One learn to drive, learn about the car and show some self respect – don’t end up looking like a fool!

You are a embarrassment to women.

I like canoeing, photographing, friends, movies, food, humor, and going on trips. I dislike rudeness, dishonesty, violence, nastyness, and people not caring for others. I do not drink much, I do not smoke and I do not do drugs. I love friends who are kind to me and stick with me. If you want to give me a gift, the best gift is to stop smoking and stop using fragranced products. Then you give me health and that dear friend, is the best gift a person can get. It is a gift of love. I got asthma and I am hearing disabled.

  1. Just be glad you are not her….be glad to be a strong self-sufficient woman as you are. We do not know her story, so as the Dalai Lama says…we need to try to see her compassionately. Be glad for who you are Annelie.

    • Thank you Lisbeth. And I do am thankful for being self-sufficient. I agree we do not know her condition, I only mean one should show some interest in asking and learning. Knowing about driving and the vehicle do not exclude knowing and liking making food and baking, decorating ones home or dress female it is possible to be both. I am. I have a hard time understanding why so many women are so not self-sufficient, do they not take pride in being bright? Even us with asthma and others who get sick from petrolium fumes fill our own cars a.s.o. It is not that hard. It’s is not hard changing battery, air filter, light bulbs, fill water and oil aso either. It only takes to ask to learn.
