Something that amaze me when going shopping in Norway is how Norwegian customers treat other customers in the same store.
For one thing they rarely show consideration by saying “- Excuse me” when they want to pass you in an isle, the just pass regardless if they bump in to you. And if they bump in to you, you rarely hear them say “-Excuse me”.
It is actually so rare that when I three weeks ago heard a lady say excuese me wanting to pass me in the isle, I stopped and felt like a questionmark and thought to myself- Is it possible?!
And then we have the cashiers desk
When they are done shopping they go to the cashier. They put their items on the desk, pay and leave their shopping cart where they stand in the way of others. Sometimes there are so many they block the way out. One have to stumble over their baskets and shopping carts and navigate between them to get through.
Why do they not think of others? It is not very nice being the one coming after you, you know!
I find it rude.
