Do you have a car key you press to lock and unlock? Have you lost the button you press on? You can easily repair it and at low cost.
What you need is
- The key
- A piece of hard plastic about as thick as the hole is deep, but 1 millimeter thinner than the hole is deep. Not thicker than the hole is deep.
- Electric tape (choose a color that fit your key handle).
First cut the plastic to a piece that fit the hole you are going to place it in.
Take the piece of plastic part and put it into the hole.
Take the tape and tape around the key handle. You can make a colored mark to point out where to press if you want.
To tape the key handle also works if the screw that holds it together is lost. Save a buck.
Works like a charm!
