Toten Norway

Toten in Norway or should I say “Toten Ins Norwegen”? That is Dead in Norway in German. Yes that is right. ;)

Toten is a place in Norway.

In (Ins) Toten among other things you find

toten-trening

Toten Gym – Like a gym for the dead is an issue?

totenegg

Toten Egg – Eggs from this place is not alive.

totentransport

Toten Transport – Dead Transport Huh? I wonder what the Germans think when they see this?

And on top of it the West of Toten got knifes in their weapon.

totenvestre

What Toten really mean in Norwegian I have no clue, but if you read it in German it gets really funny.

Toten is located between Gjøvik, Hamar and Oslo.

(ps. Dear citizens of Toten, this is just for laughs so please do not get offended.)

Fish lose sense of smell in polluted waters — Environmental Health News

Scientists has discovered that fish living in polluted water loose their sense of smell. Fish uses smell to find a partner, find food, navigate in murky waters and escape enemies becoming food. Back in fresh water they regain their sense of smell. Researchers also found pollution by metal may be cause of low reproduction with fish. http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/news/2013/fish-smell

Environmental Inhibition from Allergy and Sensitivities

Making a Internet search on Environmental Inhibition or Impairement / Disability you will find two categories, one talking about the impact from people in your life and inherited behaviour from parents, and the physical Environmental Inhibition from Allergy and Sensitivities.

It is important to know the difference between the two.

Environmental Inhibition from Allergy and Sensitivity has nothing to do with the other.

Environmental Inhibition from Allergy and Sensitivities is a physical disease a person has such as allergy, lung disease, mcs and other similar conditions, that in contact with pollution of the air we all breathe inhibit the person from entering or staying in the area, home, work place, shop, hospital, or other place.

Uniform and religious and political attributes

(Scroll down for English)

Uni-form – Enighet i form – dvs å være like.

In English

The debate over whether to wear the hijab and other religious garments to the uniform of the police, and the judiciary takes place right now in Norway.

There’s something about the word uniform. Uni-form – Agreement in the form – ie to be like. That is what is the meaning of a uniform, and if anyone has other things with their uniform – for example, religious or political symbols – when they are no longer uniform.

The whole meaning of a uniform is that everyone should be just and equitable, and shall submit repsekt.

It should not allow religious symbols or political symbols in the police, military and courts. And I mean no matter what religion or political opinions and expressions, or symbols.

There has been talk that it could be an advantage if a cop is wearing hijab or other Muslim symbol in contact with those of the same faith (also applies to other kinds of faith), but it also provides a form of no equality when other will be excluded from being talked to that because they do not have the same belief or political opinion. If we want to have an open and equal society then we should put all such away at work and otherwise.

I think that all workplaces, both public and private, should be neutral both in respect of all religions and expression of this, and all forms of politics. All this is highly charged symbols and a workplace is a place you must visit every day to get food and a roof over their heads. A job where you have customer contact should be neutral. One attend the work place to do a job, not to make an example of their faith or political standpoint. Working together and meet must fit all, regardless of believes and political opinions. The faith you have or political opinion you have, you can do in your private life.

I am not at all racist and accept that people believe in something. Many believe in different things, but I think that a workplace whether on public or private shall be neutral, and especially the judiciary and the military.

As for religion and politics one can keep on with it on their private spare time.

A workplace should be neutral.

Hvorfandenerjeg

Hvorfandenerjeg (Hvor fanden er jeg). Strange name on a village? It means: Where the hell am I?

Where the hell am I?

Disclaimer: I found this image on the internet and I do not know its origin. I take no credit for this one. Some argue it is not a actual village, but anyhow it is a really funny name.

Fausa

FAUSA feriestedet for bussjåføren, ta en tur!

Fausa - Feriestedet for bussjåfører :)))

English This one need a bit of explanation for my English speaking readers. As a bus driver you can be hired full time on steady terms, but not have shifts you drive that is the same all the time. This is called to be haired as FAUS. This place in Norway is called FAUSA.

– Fausa, the holiday resort for busdrivers. Take the tour!

International COPD day 16. November

Translation in English further down.

“KOLS er forkortelsen for Kronisk Obstruktiv Lungesykdom. Mer enn 370 000 nordmenn over 18 år lider av sykdommen og WHO regner med at KOLS vil være en av de hyppigste dødsårsakene i verden innen 2020. Norges astma- og allergiforbund kaller KOLS for «den nye kvinnesykdommen» nettopp fordi kvinner rammes i økende grad.

(tv2.no)

In English

“COPD is the abbreviation for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. More than 370 000 Norwegians aged 18 and over suffer from the disease and the WHO estimates that COPD will be one of the most frequent causes of death worldwide by 2020. Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association called COPD for” the new women’s disease “precisely because women are increasing.

– Women can tolerate smoke much less than men. A woman who smokes less than a man can still develop COPD earlier than men. “(Tv2.no)

16. November is the International COPD day.

COPD is together with asthma, a disease that gives strong slime formation in the lungs and major breathing problems. Unlike asthma that comes when the person eg. exposed to allergens or irritants a.s. and be contained by medication, then COPD a disease that is there all day and all days of the year. There is NO cure for COPD. HAVE YOU ONCE GOTTEN COPD THEN YOU NEVER GET WELL FROM IT.

COPD manifests itself so you get a chronic inflammation of the lungs with mucus formation in the lung airways in the lungs. This provides oxygen problems with fatigue and/or chronic fatigue, you have difficult to perform hard work, physical activity and climbing stairs or a walk to the car can be a challenge.

The only way to avoid aggravation of the disease is to quit smoking. There is no cure that can get the disease to go away and make your lungs go back to normal again.

The first signs of COPD is smoking cough.

Natural gas poisoning

Today I read this article at http://www.gasstationnearme.com that said that one can get poisoned by natural gas even in your car. They said that one get symphtoms like

Qoute

  • Headache and dizziness. While these may not be the classic warning signals, don’t ignore them.
  • Nausea. Especially if you are driving with the windows all rolled up or haven’t opened the windows in your house due to foul weather.
  • People who have been exposed to natural gas poisoning have ended up with epilepsy, sinus, pneumonia, nosebleed, memory loss, constipation, diarrhea, weight gain, loss of appetite, loss of menstrual cycles, depression, claustrophobia, pain in hands and feet, low-grade fever, heart pain, partial-seizures, chest pain and hair loss.

End qoute

Ok, headache and dizziness, and nausea I can understand but the rest of the illnesses listed I have a hard time understanding. Weight gain, loss of menstrual cycles, depression, claustrophobia, pain in hands and feet and hair loss? I wonder if this is really true? It actually sound a little crazy. Weight gain one get from eating and no exercise, menstruation cycles are disturbed by hormones, travels and stress, depression usually come from some kind of negative psycolocial stress or physical damage by birth, claustrophobia I really question because that is a phobia and in my point of view probably only occure because they got frightened when it happend, pain in hands and feet? Hair loss? Hair loss come of stress, age and bad food a.s.

Any medical doctor reading this who like to comment on this? Please?
