Møgelskade gav parfymebesvær -Mold damage cause fragrance sensitivity – Lotta Fäldt Magnusson – corren.se

(Scroll down for English)

Fragrance sensitive after mold injury

Lotta Fäldt Magnusson tells corren.se about how she became perfume sensitive after living in a black mold infested apartment. After three years in an apartment with black mold subfloor withstand she no longer perfume and has also received many other allergic symptoms. She says that her quality of life is severely diminished.

“There was black mold in Stångåstaden apartment where she lived for three years, which has made her sick. Already during the first year of residence, she began to feel ill, she could not breathe and had strong allergic reactions. She became sick and eventually lost her job because of prolonged sick leave. When doing a repair in the apartment, it was sub-floor found black mold. She moved from the apartment. Lotta Fäldt Magnusson has several medical reports from the Allergy Centre  about her deteriorating health and disease symptoms.

– The vocal cords are damaged forever, and my voice fails me. I have no sensation in the nose. Previously, I have never been allergic to anything, but now I can not withstand anything. If a person who has used the perfume comes near, for example, at a supermarket, I have to stop shopping and go away from there. Not to mention how hard it can be to wash in a common laundry room where many people use fabric softener, says Lotta Fäldt Magnusson.
– I have to take medication for life. It was not my fault that I got sick. ” 11 March 2016 Corren.se

She is now suing the landlord in Linköpng for pain and suffering, permanent damage to her health, lost income and quality of life. Personally I hope that she is successful in court. One get damage if getting ill at work so why not if you get ill from your home? You go girl!

Like a fish without water #asthma #astma – Reisha

Something simple like breathing

“”Something simple like breathing is a hard thing for people living with asthma. So if your goal is ‘today I want to breathe,’ that is a big feat because even walking down the stairs, the subways in New York, the pollen, smog, everything gets in the way of breathing. I heard this quote before that said ‘a life as an asthmatic is like a fish with no water’ and it’s very, very true.” — Reisha, Asthma”

To take the bus is like russian roulette – Kicki Djärv – vk.se

(Scroll down for English)

When the health do not tolerate what is in the air

“Bus travel is a gamble, Kiki Bold must always be prepared to get off. Theatre is futile and before each water aerobics session she keeps fingers crossed that no overdosed hairspray. Kiki has asthma and allergy and perfume makes her sick. We’ll meet at home in Kickis apartment in Ålidhem and I really have thought me this morning. The most cans and bottles I have in my bathroom contains perfumes of any kind; shampoo, soap, lotion, deodorant and hair spray. I try to make myself as “fragrance free” as possible, but it does not really. For Kiki reacts to rinse agent that remain in my shirt. Although it affects breathing, I know that it will pass. The difficulty is that it is built on. It may be fine for a while, but becomes the several doses I become sick in the end. I do not understand why there has to be perfume in just about everything. Detergent for example, I can not even go into the laundry room and my husband have to run three empty machines to remove all detergent and fabric softener residue. I can ride the bus, but stepping it on something that has a lot of perfume on themselves, I have to get off. Bio runs decently if we sit in the back of the chairs where there is little distance to the next line, but the theater is not to my great sorrow. I have tried many times. For some reason, “spraying” the people a little extra when they should be at the theater. I can not even stand in the foyer. I can not breathe.” vk.se

Very many are sick from your perfume use, not only from what you spray on you or put on your face and armpits, but also of the products you use that contain perfume. Show respect to those who are struggling, use perfume free products.

Scents limits Bittans life – Bittan Lagerman – mvt.se

Fragrances limit Bittan’s life

“Scent is often associated with something positive. What you smell good” and so on. For Bittan Lagerman this word now  got another, more negative connotation.

It has crept in over several years, says Motala woman who gets sick of scent from perfumes and perfumed hygiene products, detergents and fabric softeners.

I get terribly hoarse and could barely talk. And I get a tightness in the chest so that it becomes hard to breathe.

Bittan sought help from a health center in the spring. When she said she suspected that her complaints had to do with scent she did not get much sympathy I started to do research myself online. And so I took notes on when I become poor and what I did when I was there.

Eventually she come to the ear nose throat clinic in Linköping and on to the Allergy Centre and where an investigation has begun.  They think I may have SHR says Bittan.

SHR stands for sensory hyperreactivity, ie, respiratory symptoms triggered by chemicals or fragrances.

Bittan had to change her life. Continue reading
